“I am honored to be part of an organization
like Bethel Neighborhood Center. It has such a rich history
in the ministry of helping others.”
Bethel Neighborhood Center offers programs and support to youth
and adults in the community. There is so much that takes place
here, and these programs are so much more than mere activities. These
programs provide the adults with much needed interaction with friends
as well as a time to learn how to make decisions that will enable
them to stay healthy, and to just have fun. The youth are entering
into a safe place that is filled with hope and a strong conviction
that each person is special. The chance to complete homework
and to work in the areas that they may be struggling in will give
them the confidence to continue their education and return to the
community to make it a better place. The reading time, arts,
crafts, and recreation allows them to just be a kid for a while,
to work together and know that they are exceptional. Working
at Bethel is such a blessing, I love this community and it’s
people.
