Services We Provide

Please click the following for more information on what kinds of services we provide.

Adjustment & Refferrals

Not all clients need extensive case management or employment services. Some refugees would benefit from a simple referral or brief intervention to connect to a community resource that would improve their or their families’ self-sufficiency. The objective of this component is to ensure that partners – often the first place a refugee goes for assistance – are resourced appropriately to provide these services.

Early Refugee School Impact

The purpose of the Early Refugee School Impact (ERSI) program is to promote access to childcare, to ensure that ORR-eligible children are prepared to succeed in formal schooling, and to holistically serve families of eligible children. ERSI raises the quality of services to children and families across the birth-to-kindergarten continuum.

Refugee School Impact

The purpose of the Refugee School Impact (RSI) Program is to strengthen academic performance and facilitate the social adjustment of school-age refugees and other eligible populations. To achieve these goals, Replacement Designees aim to employ strategies that will improve parent participation and facilitate cultural integration into local school districts.

Youth Mentoring

The goal of Youth Mentoring is to promote positive social, civic engagement, and individual educational and vocational advancement of refugee youth and young adults.

Services to Older Refugees

The goal of the Services to Older Refugees (SOR) Program is to ensure that older Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)-eligible populations have access to appropriate knowledge and resources to integrate into their communities and create pathways to connection, access mainstream and refugee-specific services, and naturalize, thereby enhancing civic engagement and financial security. Individuals who do not meaningfully connect with their communities or naturalize have fewer opportunities to engage in the civic life of their surroundings. Additionally, those who do not naturalize find themselves at risk of reduced financial stability due to the loss of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and other federal benefits.
